TERMS AND CONDITIONS


DECLARATION

• All goods remain the property of Rimas Interiors C.C. until paid for in full.

• Acceptance of this tender authorises Rimas Interiors C.C. and the contacting party to take legal action should either entity or persons default.

• Should any person not understand any clause in this contract, it is their sole responsibility to contact a Rimas Representative to inform them on the correct understanding.


RETURNS POLICY

• Due to the customised nature of our products, we do not offer a refunds policy.


CANCELLATION

Cancellation prior to manufacturing will result in a cancellation fee of 30% off the contract sum. Cancellation must be done one week from purchase via email to info@rimasinteriors.co.za


DESIGNS

• All designs remain the intellectual property of Rimas Interiors C.C. No persons may reproduce or use any design without the formal permission of Rimas Interiors and may be liable to prosecution.

• Please note that once furniture is in production, no changes can be made.


PREPARATION OF THE SITE

• Quotations exclude dismantling, moving and transporting of any existing furniture.

• Quotations exclude electrical installations and the connection of television and audio equipment

• It is the responsibility of the client to ensure easy access to the site such as service lifts and entrance doors.

• It is the client's responsibility to ensure the site is ready for installation of Rimas Products and the site is complete regarding: building and renovations, painting, flooring, electrical and plumbing works, ceiling installations and wall coverings.


DELIVERY

• It is the Client's responsibility to ensure the site is free of valuable belongings and that adequate means of security are enforced.

• Rimas will not be held responsible for any claims on theft or loss of clients belongings. Rimas Interiors C.C. will not be held liable for any persons falsely posing as a site staff member or contractor associated with the company.

• Rimas Interiors shall not be held liable for any late deliveries or installations due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond the company's control.

• It is the clients responsibility to make sure there is enough access for our delivery team

• Client needs to authorise with their building’s body corporate to give delivery team access to the building

• Client must provide a service lift for buildings that have more than 2 floors. Our delivery team will not hoist or carry items to higher floors

• Deliveries cannot be completed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays


INSPECTION

• Clients are to inspect all final installations and deliveries in the presence of a Rimas Representative as claims of any inadequate products will not be entertained at a later stage. • All metal products are not guaranteed against rust or corrosion.

• All products are not water resistant guaranteed.

• Rimas interiors has a latent defects period of 1 years from the final completion date. A Rimas representative will inspect and report on a default before a final decision may be made, provided that products have been cared for and used correctly.

• All complaints to be made in writing within 7 days from delivery
